New! Adjustable mounting bracket

From January 2012, all ThermaSkirt Urban, Torus and Ogee profiles will use the new mounting bracket.
The new bracket is designed to allow up to 14mm of vertical movement, making installation even easier.
In addition it is being moulded in a slippery PTFE type material to ensure silent operation even on hollow plasterboard or badly uneven walls.
In addition the bracket features a handy 7mm half hole for immediate alignment of the drill bit when drilling the wall, and on the opposite side, a marking ‘Vee’ for those who prefer to leave a pencil mark prior to drilling.
Classic TS

Typical Applications
Classic TS (Torus) has been developed to replicate the most popular profile in both new build and refurbishment projects. Based on the evergreen Torus of the Victorian and Edwardian era, it has been give a modern twist with an easy to clean upper portion, eliminating the dust and dirt traps of the original skirting. A full 6”, the Classic TS is very similar to the Urban LT in terms of performance and features, except that it is also available in a paintable finish. For the 1st time it is now possible to purchase a ThermaSkirt® system that can be painted in ANY colour or finish you choose. The ThermaSkirt® alloy profile and connector covers are provided in a base finish that will accept primer and top coat from a number of reputable manufacturers paint ranges (ask for details).
TherMiser System

Recently developed in co-operation with the NHS Microbiology department to help combat infection in hospitals, the TherMiser system from DiscreteHeat Co Ltd, is now available to the general public. The touch screen programmable control monitors room temperature and the surface temperature of the ThermaSkirt heating system.
Replacing the skirting board and radiators in one, ThermaSkirt is easy to clean and resistant to chemicals and bleaches used to kill virulent bugs such as C.Diff & MRSA. The Thermiser thermostat cuts off the flow of hot water when the room reaches temperature and/or if the skirting surface rises above the factory setting of 42°C. The unit may be used as a stand alone room control, without the skirting board sensor feature if required. Click Here to see the TherMiser demonstration.
New Super Slim Corner Covers

As from May 10, all coloured Urban LT products will utilise the new super-slim corner protective mouldings, and fully flexible top gasket system. Unique to ThermaSkirt, the new corner covers use a new type of manufacturing process to create a cover only 1.1mm thick, and colour matched to the skirting. Being so slim and flexible, LT corner covers are now reduced in size to enable an even smarter, more discrete appearance.
Despite their reduction in dimensions, they will still provide the safe and silent operation experienced by our 7,500 installed users. Protecting the exposed and sharp edges of corners is a key safety feature, and allowing the ThermaSkirt to expand and contract (as all heating products must) without the associated creaks groans and clicks common on other systems, is a must. The new fully flexible top gasket is much simpler to fit and does not require cutting to length – the new covers clip on without the need for trimming the gasket to suit.
Architrave Kit

First shown at the NEC in April, the new architrave kit is now available for ordering. The architrave kit allows doorways or openings to be bridged without the need for disturbing the floors. Hiding the flow and return pipes (standard 15mm – not supplied) behind a colour and profile matched architrave allows retro fitting of ThermaSkirt into properties where the floor finish is already down.
Featuring a patented bleed system to prevent air locking, the Architrave kit is designed to compliment the Threshold kit, that takes the feed and return under the obstruction or opening in applications where access into or under the floor is straight forward.
Deco Floor Heating
As shown in these pictures, kindly sent in by Mr Hanlon from Warrington, the DECO PR profile can not only be used a heated skirting board, but also as a threshold or glass wall heating system. Being mounted in the floor, and connecting into the Regency OG 8" profile around the walls, the Deco gave Mr Hanlon the extra heat he required to heat his new all-glass Orangery. The ceiling to floor glass doors eliminated virtually all one wall, but the Deco provided a neat and discrete solution, that perfectly matches the framework and room finish.
