Unique as it is, ThermaSkirt is still backed by a 10 year wet parts guarantee, and by 40 years design and manufacturing experience, and there are over 9,000 systems installed and working. ThermaSkirt may have been designed and developed for volume manufacture but each system is tailor made to your home. Don't be misled between 'manufactured on site' and 'tailor made on site'.
ThermaSkirt has been designed to be simple to install utilising components from our own standard range of parts, and whilst we have scores of registered installers, a competent D.I.Yer, joiner or plumber can install your system. The finish and fit may be 'tailor made' but ThermaSkirt is tried, tested and guaranteed.
You can design on line at www.thermaskirt.com and have your system pre-made for delivery, or you or your fitter can simply assemble and install yourself, by cutting from standard lengths and selecting components. ThermaSkirt is available from over 200 distributors and in plumbing, heating and building merchants across the UK. This gives you the comfort that you are not tied into a single source for supply and service, and that continuity of spares and any repairs is guaranteed well into the future.
Thermostatic Valve Control
Only ThermaSkirt can offer a discrete and unobtrusive skirting mounted thermostatic valve that fully complies with Building Regulations.
Using a tried and tested thermostatic element found in 1,000,000's of radiators, housed in a unique durable non metallic valve assembly, the system responds far better to the rooms heating requirements than a conventional radiator valve.
For a completely invisible room control system, consider the 'TherMiser' programmable room stat and electrically operated flow control valve. Giving precise time & temperature control, the TherMiser system uses a touch screen room thermostat to operate a hidden valve located in the feed to the room. The TherMiser can also be used to monitor & control the surface temperature of the ThermaSkirt, for applications in hospitals or care homes where low surface temperature radiators are required.
Alternatively, ThermaSkirt® can be connected to a manifold system, similar to that used with underfloor heating.
